As of my knowledge cutoff date of June 2023, In the said time frame Aadhaar and PAN must be link and at this time penalty of 1000/- applicable to link. After the deadline penalty will be increased. So make sure you link Aadhar and PAN in the time bound.

However, it is always advisable to link your Aadhaar and PAN as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience in the future. Also, if the government announces any deadline for linking Aadhaar and PAN in the future, it's better to link them before the deadline to avoid any penalty or other consequences.
